Khan v Kotelink... Your predictions
The pressure is on Amir Khan as the Bolton fighter prepares to face WBA light-welterweight champion Andreas Kotelnik in Manchester on Saturday.
Khan is aiming to become only Britain's second world champion after WBC super-middleweight king Carl Froch but can he make the step up in weight and class?
Kotelnik should not be overlooked. The seasoned ring veteran is a solid and accurate puncher and can cause Khan's fragile chin problems despite lacking power.
The Ukrainian will prove a tricky hurdle for Khan who is aiming to unlock the door that may lead to a blockbuster British showdown with Ricky Hatton.
Khan though has found his feet again under the guidance of Freddie Roach, impressing in wins over Irishman Oisin Fagan and seven-time champ Marco Antonio Barrera and his speed advantage could be key in his quest to become a world champion.
Prediction: Kotelnik has a tight defence and is yet to be stopped but Khan will come through with a unanimous decision.

Kotelnik Didnt have clue, he was made to look ordinary.Fair play Amir you showed us you have desire and resolve when the going gets tuff and when you were tiring late on you still kept in control.A legend in the making i think!!!!!!

dave scott use gutted khan won khan was amazing the night new he would win fair enough he got knocked out by prescott but freddie changed him so much khan is a much better boxer with him as a trainner (freddie) would like to see one of use two fight him see how your jaw would last againt him now he just proved use two wrong khan is the best pound 4 pound boxer...

can see Amir boxing clever and hurting Kotelnik all night with lightning combinations, but what he needs to do is keep his hands up high, because i can see him taking the first 6 rounds on sheer volume of punches, Kotelnik's easy to catch so he will take an early lead, but then the German will take risks so Amir needs to keep his gloves high!

Khan will get destroyed, hes been protected his whole career and the first actual fight against an established fighter he got floored instantly, hes a plastic boxer, and i still cant figure out how he got this 'good fighter' status, sure hes quick and technically sound. but he crumbles under pressure and cant deliver on the day to a standard that will gain him a meaningful title

Khan got knocked out in the 1st round by Breidis Prescott who made him look like he had drunk 2 or 3 special brews. who can tell where that lesson will take him - look at lennox lewis for example - one of the best champions ever and yet he had weak jaw too

Ummm interesting how they count Khan's 'WIN' over the legend Barerra, from what I watched Khan flew out of the corner, stuck the nut on him causing a massive gash with heavy bloodflow and then cool as you like, started to pick off a man who couldn't see what he was doing. I'd love to see a rematch myself! IMO the bout should have been declared a no-win, with a rematch scheduled when Barerra's wound had healed. Hope the Ukranian wins - Khan's way too big for his boots!

Whats all this nonsense about Prescott knocking Khan't out in three rounds? If your going to comment then get your facts right! Prescott flattened 'China chin' in ONE.
Warren has opted for
Kotelnik for one reason, he's a light puncher, but he has the power to shatter Khan't.
If Khan't can use his speed and keep his chin out of range then he can outbox the rather ordinary Kotelnik, but Kotelnik only has to land ONE clean punch, and he has 12 rounds in which to do it.

Hadley mate, Kahn in 3 rounds, Yes i put my money where my mouth is as i did agsinst Prescott, the guy had an unbeaten record for a reason and destroyed "glass jaw", Kotelnik within 3 rounds... and yes i have a bet on it... Mayweather will beat Marquez but Kahn wont beat Kotelnik... he is unbeaten for a reason

Kotelnik may not have punching power but Khan has a glass jaw. How exactly can he get a world title shot ahead of Prescott who knocked Khan out spark clean?
