I'm not sure that night racing really offers anything to improve the F1 spectacle. However, the banning of traction control and other such driver aids is much more likely to be a step in the right direction, as we all saw this weekend at the opening race in Melbourne. Surely there are safety implications with night racing too? In the history of motorsport there has been some horrific accidents involving both spectators and drivers indescriminatly. By it's very nature driving at night could be dangerous, sure the tracks will be well lit but if a car spins off who's to say that part of the track will be well lit too and with a driver in possible life threatening danger is it really a good idea, this "night racing"? I hope to God my safety fears don't become reality, with so much new talent arisng now it would be a massive upset to jeopardise any one of thems future.

It is time that Ecclestone and Mosley stood down, these two dinosaurs are past their sell by date and are damaging formula 1. The FIA should be controlling
formula 1 in conjunction with the teams&the sponsors. They should determine what circuits should be hosting grand prixs and ensure the circuits have all the necessary facilities in place.Formula 1 is presently being shown on ITV, how long before Ecclestone announces he is in negotations with Sky Sports and fans will be expected to make a subscription to Sky, in order for them to be able to watch their favorite sport. Ecclestone is only interested in increasing his bank balance and empire, he is becoming the Napoleon of formula one. The sport needs to be more cost effective, not just for the teams, but the fans as well.We need to see the fun and entertainment back in the sport. Fans should be able to support their favorite team or driver by being able to purchase their memorabila at a reasonable price and not require a bank loan to do it. Mosley has made the sport boring.Bring back the old days when small private teams such as Ensign,Tyrell, March,Rebaque, Lec to name a few, helped to give the big boys a run for their money, as well as providing first class racing.
