So Nigel Mansell could make a return to front-line racing action this season.

We also want to hear your rumours and opinions. Can Mansell still cut the mustard behind the wheel? And what are your favourite memories of the man? Have you heard any other rumours on the grapevine? Use the boxes below to add your comments.

Hamilton is english and therefore exempt from any criticism. That and he's a fantastic driver, without question one of the best in the world if not the best.
Massi on the other hand is a liability (and not English). The criticism is justified, if a little bit harsh. Still, i seriously doubt that he will be dropped just like that.

I have a few friends who are into F1 and they all hate Lewis Hamilton. I think he's Ok and he's a brit who looks like he could actually win something, can anyone explain why no one likes him?

Well I put £10 on Maclaren last year to win and lost my money. This year I put £10 on Massa at 5-1 to win. I reckon I have ruined any chances he may have had. sorry Mate but I like Hamilton anyway.

Why's everyone so keen on Massa?? As far as I can work out, he's error prone, he was damn lucky to bag a Ferrari and he every now and again gets lucky. I'd rather someone like Nakajima was in the other Ferrari - then we'd see what Massa's reallly like

Murrey walker coming back is a great step. But you have to say that the ITV team have worked so well, with both the technical stuff as well as the teams and drivers themselfs. It would be a real shame not to see the likes of Martin brundel or Mark blundell give their views and verdicts of each race, car, and driver and team in the 2009 season and onwards. Come on BBC, sign these experts up, they have great talent and expertise.

massa will not be dropped that is a load of bull****
he has signed on til the end of 2009!!
ok you may that counts for nothing but ferrari will not get rid of him... he is not the only who has made mistakes!
ok in OZ he spun it.. but he was working his way up the field quickly but the car let him down and in malaysia he spun but only because the aerodynamics in the balance were wrong..how dare people criticise massa when he is not the only one who makes mistakes.. people seem to forget about the mistakes hamilton..

Come on what the hell does Richard Hammond know about F1, he is only the stooge for Jeremy Clarkson's comedy show.Enlist Damon Hill immediately and we can all be sure of an experienced and unbiased presenter to front this new era in F1 for the BBC rather than the inane burblings we have had to endure for the last twelve years.

Well I'm supporting Massa!! What do expect when the brains behind Ferrari have gone (all 3 of them!!) This is just typical of teams just look at Mclaren -

I've got no doubt Massa will be ditched at the end of the season regardless of his contract with Ferrari for next season. He's looked like a rookie and what he did at Sepang was unforgiveable. Time's up.
