Does Chambers deserve another chance?
Whatever the result in the final of the 60m at the World Indoors today, all the chat will be about Dwain Chambers, according to former hurdling world champion Colin Jackson in an interview with Orange.
And Jackson also insists Chambers has no place in Team GB and will prove a disruption and irritant to his fellow team-mates at the championships in Valencia, Spain.
But does the former drugs cheat deserve a second chance or should Chambers be banned from competing ever again for Team GB? Read our interview with Colin Jackson in full and post your comments below...

Once your'e caught using drugs, you are out. No second chances no excuses , finished. If you can't do it because of your natural ability get lost

Here we go again,I take drugs to stay alive, those people who take drugs to cheat their way through life do not deserve any rewards and all the gold bars and gold medals they win should be taken away from them, they do very little actual work and are in a coveted position in their own sport,I do not care if they play football cricket rugby or anything else if they cheat they are cheating the sporting watching public and should be banned completely from the sport,it makes a mockery of all sport if a person cheats, the other people competing against him have done it the hard honest way,how do they feel, they feel cheated themselves,so robbery of a million pounds from a bank is ok is it let him do ten years and still have his million pounds stashed away?.What Rot.These people who are saying let him have a second chance they are stupid,in the same way we do not let the criminal have his spoils then the same follows or should follow in the rest of life, anyway lets hope that most countries stop people who have been convicted of drug offences from entering the country in question, I know a few countries who will not let him in anyway, where will he stop when he gives it to some kids? Taking ,selling Drugs like this should be punished with the severest penalties, thats what is wrong with our country ,Drugs and drink,no one will ever convince me that a young Cystic Fibrosis patient in hospital should look up to these cheats.

Do convicted fellons deserve a second chance. When the law of this land changes to be only one strike and you are out for life then I will listen to the likes of colin jackson and only then change my mind. He has paid his dues and served his time. Would we be discusing him had he been a flop, I think not get off his back he is due a break. R G

HE KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING AND THE RISKS INVOLVED. LIKE MANY OF THE PEOPLE CAUGHT THE SHAME SHOULD BE ENOUGH TO DRIVE THEM FROM THE PUBLIC EYE. HOWEVER DOES THE PUNISHMENT FIT THE CRIME IN TODAYS MODERN SOCIETY? I KNOW WHAT MY HARD LINE ANSWERS IS....STAMP IT OUT.

if we can not ban him because of legal reasons,
can the sports body ask other country's to refuse him a visa or refuse him entry to their country as an undesirable/drug taker/cheat
but why not his fello athletes refuse to take part in any event in which he is entered

My hope is that Chambers fluffs it at the World Indoors.
Used to be a big fan of his and he was always claiming he was cleaner than clean.
As well as a drugs cheat, he's alsoa liar and that's no good in my book.

Personally, I'm with Colin Jackson. What he's trying to say is that it's not so bad that Chambers was a drugs cheat. Sadly that happens in every sport. What Jackson and the British team are annoyed about is the fact that Chambers then claimed that the only way you could be at the top of your game was to be a drugs cheat. Saying that, he's effectively accusing the likes of Jackson and anyone else who's ever done well in a British vest of cheating, which isn't true. That's a sure-fire way to make enemies!

Rory, I always thought the idea of forums was so that people could voice "their opinions" ?
My comments were NOT an attack on Dwain Chambers personally, but on drug cheats in general.

Shut up. He's done his time, served the crime and now he's back. Why's that any different to anyone else? Leave him alone and let him get on with it

In a word NO!
Cheats have to realize that if they cheat...that's it. Goodnight Vienna. That is the only way any ruling body in any sport can control drug cheats.
