it's happening as we watch the champions league. steve maclaren!!!!!!!!!!!!!! no more words needed. the whole country can rest assured, safe in the knowledge that we won't be on the edge of our seats next summer. nothing to get excited about. all our hope and expectation gone. we got what the powers that be wanted - a yes man and polite failure.

Christian Gross. Ex Grasshopper manager, was out of his depth at Spurs. Luckily he had Mabbutt and Klinsmann to save him.

What about the farcical John Barnes at Celtic? Or the equally inept Christian Gross at Tottenham?
There are a whole host of totally STUPID managerial appointments every season so it's damn difficult, but surprised these two didn't make the list!

Our best player at the time was Marcus Stewart, and we sold him to Ipswich, who then got promoted and qualified for Europe the following year with Stewart scoring the goals!!!! Thank you Steve Bruce

Steve Bruce at Huddersfield Town was a massive mistake, spent Millions on Rubbish. Sold our best player, then left us in a state which led to our demise into the bottom tier of League football to which we still haven't recovered. He signed George Donis for £20K a week in the now Championship and he played 12 games in 2 years.
