Frank Lampard: Orange Competition
Hello and welcome to my latest blog!
It's Euro 2008 qualifying once more this week. The games against Israel and Andorra are huge and we have to go with the intention of winning both.
I wouldn't want to go into either game thinking about losing points or being happy with a draw. I don't know if six points is a must as there's still a long way to go in the group. But we're in a position where we need points on the board sooner rather than later.
Israel will be a very tough game. They are very good at home and our last away game against Croatia wasn't a good performance - we deserved to get beat. We haven't played to our potential so far in qualifying that's obvious. We need to go there and win.
Ahead of these crunch Euro 2008 games I've got five signed footballs to give away. All you need to do to enter is answer the following simple question:
Who are England's opponents in the forthcoming European Championship qualifying double header?

i've always supported chelsea and i am always argueing with my m8s saying that chelsea is the best team ever, and you r the best midfielder in the world. i am the biggest fan of you and john terry and i would do anything to meet you.
i think your an amazing footballer and that no one can satnd in your way
plus ur much better than gerrard and ranaldo!!!!!!!!!

great game against spurs the other night, you all went out there and gave them a fantastic pasting. they only did ok last time you met because you mustve all been having an "off day". ha! there was no way theyd get another chance like that, not against the blues brothers! p.s who was that ugly fella who had the nerve to do a one-manned pitch invasion and try to have a go at hitting you? how dare he!! obviously jealous of that fantastic, toned, ultra fit body of yours, us girls dont mind though lamps!keep taking that top off, carry on doing it for us, make it a new addition to your celebrations, whether you score or not!! phwoaarrr!!! be watching you on saturday against israel and im gonna keep everything crossed that we do well. england need a good result and weve got the team and the potential to do it. go for goal frankie, show everyone what you can do and how well you can do it. shine like the star that you are! good luck, come on england! lots of love xxx
