Bully's betting blog

Judgement Day has arrived and it's the Gold Cup at the Cheltenham Festival. It doesn't get any better than this, if I fail to recover my losses of the last few weeks (£101.88) I'm going to take a break to re-charge my batteries.
Thursday's two bets saw a small profit of £21.25 after the sweet victory of Inglis Drever in the Stayers' Hurdle. Monet's Garden was a real disappointment - especially as it was backed into 7/4 having taken the morning 3/1.
I'm going to concentrate on two horses today - Flight Leader in the 2.35pm. I'll have £10 each-way at the starting price.
In the Gold Cup (3.15pm) I've opted to oppose the 'jolly' Kauto Star and back State of Play each-way at 8/1. I'll also have £10 each-way.
Record so far: Bets 36; Winners 6; Losers 28; Non-runners 2; Running total -£101.88.
