Blogs (short for 'weblogs') are, in the loosest sense, online diaries. However, this blog is not a day-to-day report of someone’s life, more an area where the Orange news team can publish articles, thoughts, pictures and videos that you, the readers, can respond and react to.
As for the nuts and bolts of the blog, here’s what you need to know:
- You're invited to post replies or comments, which you do by clicking on the 'comments' tab at the bottom of each post.
- If you want to send us ideas, articles, pictures or videos for use in the blog, email them to news.editor@orange-ftgroup.com . If sending a video please make sure it is in Windows Media format (.wmv files). Feel free to email pics from your mobile to the same address – we want your contributions.
- The 'permalink' tab allows you to bookmark a particular post, or send it to a friend.
- You can access recent posts by clicking on one of the categories in the right-hand menu.
Other options, such as subscribing to the RSS feed or getting video inside your own blog, can also be found on the right-hand side.
It’s as simple as that. However, here are some pointers to remember:
- We don’t want to see swear words or xenophobic, racist or sexist comments in the blog. Please get involved, but try and keep it clean! Please be aware of the blog rules.
- When leaving a comment, you have the opportunity to include your email address and a web address (url). This is optional and does not need to be included for a comment to be sent.
- Please be aware of our privacy policy.
