Congratulations to Jordan and Peter Andre, who yesterday accepted "substantial damages" over a News of the World article portraying them as bad parents.
The Sunday tabloid has now retracted all comments made in the story, which was published in February.
Following the hearing, Jordan read out a prepared statement on the steps of the High Court. "Pete and I love our kids and would do anything for them," she told the assembled throng. "We came here today to see that justice was done and that our names were cleared."

Here's Britney Spears during an evening out with friends in Los Angeles at the weekend. OK, so this picture isn't taken from her best angle - but you have to admit she's been scrubbing up rather nicely recently.
It's also worth noting that Brit-Brit didn't flash her undies, burst into tears or run off with a paparazzo. She just got out of her car, went into a restaurant and enjoyed a quiet meal with her mates. What a difference a few months can make, eh?
Talking of which, remember the erstwhile pop princess's shambolic performance at last year's MTV Video Music Awards? Well, rumour has it she's hoping to bury the ghost of that little episode by returning to the stage at this year's event in September.
"Everyone deserves a second or third chance, right?" says MTV Networks Music Group president Van Toffler.
So while we cross our fingers and hope Van and the gang can coax Britney back to the scene of the crime, here's a reminder of the night it all went wrong (sorry, Britters!):

As you can see, Charlize Theron scrubbed up rather nicely for her appearance on Tuesday night's The Late Show With David Letterman.
But the Oscar-winner made a rather grubby revelation during her interview: she's not averse to going a whole week without a proper wash.
"When I do have a little time off, I like to get down and dirty, like camping or travelling to countries that don't have the luxuries," she told the US talk show host. "I'm a tough girl and I can not shower for a week - I'm fine with that."
However, Charlize says she's not so fine with sleeping on dirty sheets. Well, it's good to hear she has some standards!

Remember all the fuss about 15-year-old Disney star Miley Cyrus’s “topless” shoot for Vanity Fair?
Well, now her dad Billy Ray Cyrus has spoken out about the controversy for the first time, on US TV.
In a nutshell? He didn’t know they were going to “strip her down and wrap her in a blanket” - and although he was present at first, he had to leave the shoot before the offending pic was taken.
“I was surprised when I saw the photo - but, hey, that’s life,” he shrugs. “Stuff happens… We gotta deal with it.”
Ah, yet more wise words from the man who brought us ‘Achy Breaky Heart’…

Isn’t YouTube a wonderful thing, eh? Without it, we wouldn’t be able to get such regular amazing insights into the day-to-day life of Pete Doherty, for example.
In the past 24 hours, Pete’s posted not one but two (count ‘em!) new videos for our entertainment. In the first one, he waffles - a little incoherently at times, it has to be said - about taking us all to a gig. And he also mutters something about having thrown his laptop out the window:

Here's Justin Timberlake looking suitably cool and casual at last night's Los Angeles premiere of The Love Guru.
Earlier in the day, Madonna's new best friend popped up on The Jay Leno Show to clear up a few pesky rumours. Ready? He's not about to tie the knot with girlfriend Jessica Biel. Oh, and he's not pregnant either. "Well, men can get pregnant, too - you can't be too careful nowadays," he quipped.

If your husband is in jail and your marriage is in trouble, what's the best way to contact him? If your name is Amy Winehouse, it's by filming yourself standing in a weird blue room with Pete Doherty and a box of newborn mice and getting one of the rodents to deliver the message. And then chucking the resultant video on YouTube.
"Blake, please don't divorce Mummy - she loves you ever so," says the mouse, in a voice that sounds suspiciously like Amy's. "Oh my God, that's psychedelic," says Pete, correctly as it happens. And it would all be quirky and cute if the whole situation wasn't such a damn mess.
We say: for the sake of all that is pure and good, someone go and free those mice! And while you're there, get those two to clean their fingernails.

Brad Pitt almost didn't make it to Angelina Jolie's movie premiere in Cannes last night. The reason? He was putting their four children to bed. "He's with our kids right now, but he'll get his suit on at the last minute, I'm sure," an unruffled Ange told reporters.
Mind you, Angelina's got enough to worry about at the moment with trying to keep all her Kung Fu Panda co-stars under control.
On Wednesday, Jack Black told the world she was expecting twins. And yesterday, Dustin Hoffman went one better by announcing the due date (19 August, in case you were wondering). Honestly - is nothing sacred?

Remember all those rumours that Angelina Jolie is expecting twins? Well, unlike most Hollywood rumours, it turns out this one's true.
How do we know? Loose-tongued actor Jack Black let the news slip during a joint interview with Angelina to promote their new animated film Kung Fu Panda. "You're gonna have as many as the Brady Bunch when you have these," he quipped, gesturing towards her baby bump.
Interviewer Natalie Morales then asked Ange if the news was true. "Yeah, yeah, we've confirmed that already," she laughed. "Well, Jack's just confirmed it actually."
The twins will bring Angelina and Brad Pitt's ever-growing brood up to a total of six. But will they stop there?

Tom Cruise's much-touted return to The Oprah Winfrey Show turned into an all-too-predictable gush-fest when a bunch of the pint-sized superstar's friends and colleagues sent video messages to tell him how great he is.
The A-list brown-nosers included Will Smith, Renée Zellweger and our very own David and Victoria Beckham. Mrs B recalled how Becks took her to see Tom's movie Jerry Maguire on one of their first dates.
"When we got to know Tom, we told him the story," she continued. "And he sent us the jacket he wore in one of the scenes, and he signed it." There was really no need, Tom: you had them at "Hello"...
Anyway, tearful testimonials aside, Oprah Winfrey also managed to quiz the actor about his last appearance on her show - which, as you'll doubtless recall, involved the infamous sofa-diving incident. Watch below to find out Tom's excuse:

I'm loath to even mention this - because it just encourages David Blaine to do more of the same.
But the "stunt superstar" (the Daily Mirror's description, not mine) has just broken the world record for holding his breath underwater. Daft Dave managed to spend 17 minutes in a water tank, during an appearance on Oprah Winfrey's US talk show.
Despite being submerged for half the show, he still managed to say more than he did during his infamous GMTV "interview".
Hmmm... Assuming they can hang on to the tank for a while, maybe Tom Cruise can have a stab at breaking David's record when he shows up to talk to Oprah next week...

Is 15 years old too young to strike a provocative pose in a glossy magazine? That's the big debate gripping the US at the moment - thanks to recent controversial pics of Disney teen sensation Miley Cyrus.
Hannah Montana star Miley was photographed by celebrity photographer and Queen-botherer Annie Leibovitz - and graces the June issue of Vanity Fair (on sale May 2nd), apparently wrapped in nothing but a satin sheet.
Funnily enough, the clean-living, God-fearing parents of America were none too pleased when they saw the pics - and Miley's been forced to apologise. "I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be 'artistic' and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed," she said in an official statement.
And what about Miley's bosses? "Unfortunately, as the article suggests, a situation was created to deliberately manipulate a 15-year-old in order to sell magazines," says a Disney spokesman. "Now if you'll excuse me, I've got to go home because Minnie's got the tea on and Donald's coming round later."*

It's official: America loves David Beckham! The reluctant superstar has just made a much-hyped guest appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show - and caused much whooping among the overexcitable audience when he revealed he's ready to expand his family with wife Victoria.
"We're working on it," Becks told Ellen. "We're very family-oriented. We always wanted a big family, which was weird because when we first got together we never even discussed how many children we wanted. It's worked out we want a big family and we love kids, so it's worked out perfect."

Sex and the City star Cynthia Nixon has revealed she was diagnosed with breast cancer two years ago. Thankfully, the disease was in its very early stages and the actress underwent successful treatment.
"I didn't really want to make it public while I was going through it," she explains. "I didn't want paparazzi at the hospital, that kind of thing." Cynthia has now become an ambassador for US charity Susan G Komen For the Cure .

First of all, apologies to all the ladies for making you look at this David Beckham Armani picture again, I know it's a chore.
The reason we've whipped it out again is because old Goldenballs has been talking about how despite his, er, confident pose he was actually a quivering bundle of nerves before the big shoot. "I was so nervous about doing that campaign because obviously I've done photo shoots before, but I've never done photo shoots in my underwear," he told US chat show host Jay Leno.
There was also the matter of his wife and friends seeing it – not to mention his mum. "When the photos first came out, she was the first one to call me and say, 'What are you doing?'" David explained. "I had to try and explain it to her, and it didn't really go down that well."
We can't imagine why on earth not… Here's a bit of Becks charming the socks off Leno.

Britney Spears' decision to appear in US sitcom How I Met Your Mother has apparently paid off, drawing praise from the critics and giving the show a big ratings boost.
Pulling in a hefty 10.67m viewers – the show's highest ever figures – the extended cameo saw La Spears playing a daft receptionist at a tattoo-removal surgery.
"Britney looked as adorable last night as she did waaay back when," said the New York Post’s Linda Stasi. “[She] appeared fresh-faced and relaxed, capably filling the small role,” intoned AP's Erin Carlson. And David Hinckley of the New York Daily News unintentionally delivered what some might have seen as a backhanded compliment, writing, “Spears proved she can act every bit as well as she can sing.”
Anyway, in case you missed it, here's a clip which combines all Britters' moments into one slightly confusing mulch.
While it’s probably safe to say she’s not the next Gielgud, Britney's ditzy perkiness is undeniably winning. What did you think?

Sweet Jesus. Remember this?
Well here’s the bad news: some damn fool with no regard for health and sanity has leaked a song recorded two years ago by Rebecca Loos onto the internet. There’s no video, but you can listen below – at your peril, of course.
It’s called ‘Your Boyfriend’, which to us sounds suspiciously like a dig at Victoria Beckham. Loos today denied this was the case: "The song has nothing to do with the Beckhams at all,” she said. "I recorded it two years ago as a p***-take and it was never supposed to be released. Now it’s the most listened-to song on the internet. We haven’t got a clue how it’s ended up on the web - we’re trying to find out who leaked it.”
She added: “It’s not a dig at Victoria - I’d never, ever do that.”
Wouldn’t she? Thoughts below please.
