Chanelle’s got red hair, Michelle’s got a new dress

Hold the front pages! News just in from just outside the Mayfair Hotel is that former Big Brother housemate Chanelle Hayes has dyed her hair red. And very nice she looks, too - don‘t you agree?

But that’s not all! Chanelle was en route to the Inspiration Awards for Women at London’s Cadogan Hall, which was packed to the rafters with reality TV favourites.

Here, for example, is Celebrity Big Brother’s Michelle Heaton, showing off her newly trimmed-down figure in a clinging satin dress…

And here’s The Apprentice winner Michelle Dewberry, giving it the prerequisite 110% in a plunging aquamarine gown…

Strictly Come Dancing grump Brendan Cole was also there - along with his model girlfriend Zoe Hobbs…

Another reality TV great - Jade Goody - was honoured with a posthumous award for Inspirational Determination, which was collected by her former publicist Max Clifford.

Chanelle and Peaches get cuddled

Remember the overzealous fan who cuddled Peter Andre and Him-out-of-JLS at last week’s Mobo Awards party? Well, as you can see, she’s been at it again - and this time she’s really come up trumps.

Hanging around outside London’s Mayfair Hotel last night, serial cuddler Tania McIntosh managed to grab a hug from Big Brother 8’s Chanelle Hayes (above), Mel B’s husband Stephen Belafonte…

…and the usually po-faced party girl Peaches Geldof…

…who actually managed to crack a smile for once.

So who is Tania? Well, I’ve done some top investigative journalism - ie I’ve put her name into Google - and it seems she’s actually best known for being Louis Walsh’s No.1 fan. Here she is, outside the X Factor auditions in July…

Chanelle's back with a new 'do!

Been wondering what's happened to Big Brother 8 dropout Chanelle Hayes recently? To be honest, I've thought of nothing else for weeks.

Well, look! She's back! With a new hairdo! Chanelle was photographed leaving a London TV studio last night, having spent the afternoon recording a top secret new show, which is said to be a cross between Newsnight and The Krypton Factor.*

 

So do the blonde extensions signal an end to Chanelle's Victoria Beckham obsession? And, more to the point, does the new look suit her? Tell us what you think.

* Confession time: I don't really have a clue what Chanelle's new show is about, and my initial investigations have drawn a blank. But if she did start presenting a cross between Newsnight and The Krypton Factor, that would be brilliant, wouldn't it?

Has Chanelle gone nuts for Rex?

Look! Former Big Brother stars Chanelle Hayes and Rex Newmark were pictured walking close to one another after last night's Nuts Cover Girl party at London's Vendome.

You know what that means? They must be having a wild and passionate romance. After all, there's no other reason why two reality TV has-beens would be photographed in close proximity to one another, is there? (Only joking, kids.)

Mind you, last week the Daily Star seemed convinced that Chanelle was bonking Verne Troyer. It's all very confusing.

Anyway, also in attendance at last night's starry shindig was Celebrity Big Brother 2009's first evictee Lucy Pinder...

 

Apparently, Lucy recently issued a come-and-get-me plea to David Cameron, because she'd like to get involved in promoting the Conservative party.

Ah, if only she'd spoken up sooner, she could have got the "Tory maths tsar" gig instead of Carol Vorderman...

Happy birthday, Chanelle?

I'd now like to wish a belated happy birthday to Big Brother quitter and international pop sensation (don't laugh - her single reached No.5 in Russia) Chanelle Hayes, who turned 21 yesterday.

Chanelle celebrated with friends at London's Embassy club - before returning to her swanky hotel in the early hours.

And according to the photographer who took this snap outside the hotel, Ms Hayes appeared to be "completely out of it". But she doesn't look it, does she?

That's the mark of a true pro, you see: no matter how "tired and emotional" you are, as long as you can scrub up nicely for your late-night paparazzi shots, you'll go a long way...

Big Brother stars' big night out

As you've probably noticed, it doesn't take long for former Big Brother housemates to hook up and go out on the town together - even when they were in totally different series.

An example? Here's Celebrity Big Brother's Chantelle Houghton stepping demurely into her car, having spent yesterday evening at China White...

And who's this following close behind? It's Big Brother 9's Stuart Pilkington...

Sadly I can't quite tell from this pic which of them is wearing the most eye make-up.

Still, when Chantelle's out partying, you can be sure Big Brother 8's Chanelle Hayes won't be far behind...

She seems to be in a bit of a hurry - but maybe she's just eager to catch up with Chantelle and Stu and make sure she doesn't miss out on all the fun...

Incidentally, Chanelle's ex, Ziggy Lichman, was also out on the town last night - but opted for a subtle twist on the "hook up with a fellow housemate" trend by being pictured with... er... Jennifer Metcalfe from Hollyoaks instead.

I would show you the picture, but I think we've had enough photographs of Ziggy to last us a lifetime, don't you?

Who's Chanelle's new man?

They're still out there. Last year's Big Brother contestants, I mean...

A gaggle of familiar faces from BB8 showed up to last night's premiere of The X-Files: I Want To Believe in London's Leicester Square.

Most notable among them was Chanelle Hayes, who arrived with a new man on her arm. His name? It's Mr InterCasino, apparently - although, frankly, I think that's a silly name so I'm going to refer to him as Dave from now on.

Also in attendance were Sam and Amanda Marchant...

A London premiere's not complete without the pair of them wearing eccentric outfits, you know.

Oh yes, and I should mention that the stars of the film were there, too. David Duchovny and a very pregnant Gillian Anderson scrubbed up rather nicely for their big night...

I'm sure they were both really excited to meet Chanelle...

Paris meets Chanelle

Never let it be said Paris Hilton doesn't work hard for her money. The unstoppable hotel heiress spent yesterday promoting her new fragrance, Can Can, in London.

But before heading into the late-night launch party at Dolce nightclub, she found time to stop and give us this limp little wave...

Oh Paris, we're not worthy. But - hang on! Was our favourite ex-convict looking decidedly less orange than usual? I only ask because she seems to have been "out-oranged" by some of the UK's most celebrated reality stars, who also turned up to the launch.

First came Big Brother's Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace, whose dress almost matched her skin tone...

Then came a very serious-looking BB housemate-turned-pop star Chanelle Hayes...

But most comment-worthy pic of the night has to be this one of Celebrity Big Brother winner Chantelle Houghton...

I wonder what was wrong with her eye. Too much mascara? Too little sleep? Or was she just dazzled by the sight of Aisleyne? Who knows?

Chanelle's shock new hairstyle

For a moment there I thought the unthinkable had happened. Wannabe pop star Chanelle Hayes turned up to G-A-Y at London's Astoria, sporting a new hairstyle that bore absolutely no resemblance to anything Victoria Beckham has been seen with recently.

But - hang on! The white corset? The long brown curls? Chanelle is still copying Posh - but she's stepped back in time to adopt Mrs B's look from 2003.

As those of you with long memories will recall, this was around the time Posh was attempting to launch her solo singing career - shortly before she gave it all up to become a full-time fashionista. So maybe Chanelle's hoping for a similar sky-high level of success?

Talking of which, the former Big Brother babe was apparently booed offstage by clubbers at G-A-Y - although her new best friend Chantelle Houghton was there to lend her support.

OK, so this picture - taken outside London club Funky Buddha last night - is quite an easy one to get you started. Still, averting your gaze from Chantelle Houghton's jubblies in order to spot her new best mate Chanelle may be easier said than done...

Chanelle says no to gunge

Another day, another tantrum for Big Brother starlet Chanelle Hayes... Apparently, the Victoria Beckham wannabe kicked off at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards - and refused to be "gunged" on stage. However, a bunch of her fellow ex-housemates and TV presenter Holly Willoughby were more than happy to get covered in slime.

Hmmm... you know what? We think we're starting to prefer Chanelle's ex-housemate Charley Uchea... It's certainly impossible to make a call on which of the ubiquitous reality stars has the biggest ego...
