Jedward in flat hair shocker!
Posted by Jane Murphy
Eek! Could John & Edward’s X Factor reign be coming to an end?
I only ask because the rapping-and-jumping duo were spotted outside the contestants’ house yesterday afternoon without their trademark six-inch-high quiffs.
And as everyone knows, this year’s show is all about the hair. (See also: Dannii Minogue and Jamie Afro.) Without their usual ‘dos, Jedward are just a couple of flops.
So now for the burning question the whole country is asking (possibly): should the twins wear their hair “up” or “down”? Tell us what you think.

If the best singers are in the bottom 2 each week why is it Jon and Edwards fault? The public do the voting so they are to blame. Get your fingers out and dial you tight fisted wingers

Has anyone thought of who is really to blame? Which judges put the boys through to bootcamp in the first place. Louis didn't do it on his own. Who were the other two?
Simon thought it was amusing especially if Louis got the groups. He was overjoyed when Louis did get them. Who's sorry now? Don't blame the boys blame the dumbo judges.
The boys are 17. How would you feel if it were your children or bothers being booed and jeered at. Wow the British public should be really proud of themselves. If that happened to their kids in school, they would be the first to complain. Shame on you.

cant they just do the decent thing and resign! and let lucy back in. even they must know she deserves to be there and they dont! people may even like them for resigning

Has anyone noticed the resemblance between the boys and Louis Walsh? Are they family? Could explain a lot!
I think Simon should apologise to Lucie and bring her back. In any case the boys will Fizz out hopefully tonight while Lucie has the talent to go on forever

Leave the boys alone - they make me laugh every week and for that reason alone they are great! They are so young people need to back off! I think X Factor stopped being a singing contest years before now besides which many finalists end up recording songs - the charts are full of X factor people and love it or hate it it is great tv!!!

I think it is horrible the way the public are treating Jedward. It is the fault of the judges and the public that they are still in. Who is actually lifting the phone to vote for these 2 young niave boys as you are not allowed to vote in the Republic of Ireland. They do not have a talent in singing and Lucie should still be there but they do not deserve the abuse they are getting they are only kids for gods sake.

Leave Jedward Alone... Kick out Cowell, he's the one who has made a mockery of it all
Posted by: John Prescott | 14 November 2009 at 15:46
For crying out loud stop blaming Jedward!!! It was the sly and greedy Simon Cowell's fault that they didn't go out - blame him. I do agree that they shouldn't be in the running but Cowell shirked the responsibility so as to rake in $$$. If it was a true singing contest, Lucie and RACHEL would still be in. I feel really sorry for Lucie - she was nice, pretty, genuine, a good singer and could have been up there. But lets not turn on Jedward - VOTE for them to annoy Cowell as some people have already alluded to.

I AGREE WITH THE LAST COMMENT.
IF NON OF US VOTE TONIGHT - CAN YOU IMAGINE THE CHAOS AND PANIC !!
SO I AGREE - NON OF US SHOULD VOTE AT ALL
Posted by: dave | 14 November 2009 at 15:25
NO-ONE SHOULD VOTE TONIGHT - WE SHOULD ALL MAKE A STAND AGAINST SIMON COWELL AND HIS CHEATING WAYS.
NO-ONE VOTE !!!!!!!!!

who really cares what they look like- they're talentless! I think the nation needs to get out abit more- as they keep voting the gastly duo in. I thought X- factor was supposed to be a singing talent contest?? I'm not watching anymore! Simon Cowell is a cop-out- why have the judges there in the first place? when it comes down to the judges vote, they throw it back to the public!

X Factor stopped being a talent show a long time ago. It's now a bank-boosting ego-trip for Simon Cowpat

Lucie had to go last week so as not to outshine Simon's boys. She was obviously a potential winner. I wonder who will be the sacrificial lamb this week? Lucie should console herself that it was definitely not a singing contest. I shall not bother to watch it next year.

I agree with all the bad comments about thees two twits. I had a lot of respect for Mr Cowell but after what he had done the last two weeks this has gone.
Posted by: John Daly | 14 November 2009 at 13:29
who cares who wins now it clearly isn't anything to do with singing as Simon proved last week
Posted by: julie | 14 November 2009 at 12:32
For the pride of Ireland, please don't vote for Jedward!
Posted by: Seamus | 14 November 2009 at 12:18
they should be kicked out the contest
Posted by: myomollly | 14 November 2009 at 11:59
they are idiots
Posted by: myomollly | 14 November 2009 at 11:58
yes they do look better but still can't sing , they should go out this week all being fare
Posted by: sally | 14 November 2009 at 11:46
If Jedward win X Factor i will make it a personal principle to never watch the programme again!!! It's laughable that they are still in the running. who are the saddos voting for them. It's a joke, surely. i thought X Factor was a singing talent contest , not a comedy.
Posted by: jim | 14 November 2009 at 10:49
God Forbid!! X-Factor should be a talent show for singing not for two idiots who can't even move together let alone sing! Won't be watching anyway. Simon Cowell has made an unforgivable great error of judgement and the show now sucks!!
Posted by: Hannah | 14 November 2009 at 10:35
I can't believe this couple of useless, untalented plonkers are still on our screens!!!
Will someone please get rid of them. X factor is supposed to be about talent, something neither of these two actualy have!
