Lindsay’s a flop at Paris Fashion Week

Oh dear! Lindsay Lohan’s first fashion collection for French design house Emanuel Ungaro received a less-than-rapturous response following its unveiling at Paris Fashion Week this weekend.

Lindsay and head designer Estrella Archs (who may well be the tallest woman in the world, if our pic’s anything to go by) received lukewarm applause from the fashion fraternity after showcasing the range of minidresses, blazers, bra tops and… erm… heart-shaped nipple covers.

A few verdicts from the press? “Obvious to the point of banality” (The Independent); “the final gasp of celebrity madness” (New York Times); “nothing in the collection evidenced any real skill or discernible design work“ (Los Angeles Times).

Still, I’m sure the oh-so-sniffy fashion pack had already decided they weren’t going to like Li-Lo’s handiwork before they’d seen a single nipple cover.

“It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done,” poor Lindsay told reporters after the show. Oh well, back to the day job… (Now, what is that day job again?)

Hmmm… that outfit looks ripe for an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction, doesn’t it? Maybe Ri-Ri should invest in a heart-shaped nipple cover. Apparently, there’s a job-lot going spare in Paris this morning…
