Did Emma outshine Posh?

There was much excitement at yesterday’s Burberry catwalk show at London Fashion Week - particularly when Victoria Beckham bowled up in a cute flared black dress from her own collection.

But then 19-year-old Harry Potter star Emma Watson arrived, wearing this gold Burberry minidress…

“Emma got the look just right,” one knowledgeable fashionista told the Daily Mail. “It would have been a big mistake to try an OTT outfit. Her dress wowed the crowds but looked sophisticated at the same time.”

Now, I’m no fashion expert - but if Emma’s dress isn’t just a teeny-weeny bit OTT, I really don’t know what is.

Anyway, there were plenty more glammed-up stars at the show - including Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto, who allowed herself to become disentangled from boyfriend Dev Patel for just long enough to pose for this photograph…

Other guests included Gwyneth Paltrow, Agyness Deyn, Liv Tyler and - of course - Business Secretary Peter Mandelson. Well, no fashion gathering would be complete without him, would it?

forgetting posh's embarrassing attempts to stay in the spotlight (she's well and truly buggered when fabio finally sees the light and drops david), i would say she has that supermodel thing going on where designers pick models who are striking in some way without actually being pretty so they don't detract from the frocks - but emma won this contest, posh just looked like her mum

Posh is actually beginning to look very severe with her hair and makeup and rather old in fact. Her clothing range I think only accentuates it. For me Emma definitely won last night.

Emma is sexy, young, talented and wears gorgeous clothes, whereas Victoria is a skeleton with a ridiculous pout and always goes OTT or verrrry boring with her clothing choices!
