It’s a star-studded tennis ball!

There was a funny old mishmash of stars at last night’s pre-Wimbledon knees-up in Kensington. And correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think very many of them had anything much to do with tennis.
As you can see from the picture above, hard-working socialite Holly Branson brought a couple of pillows along to cover her ears. Why? Well, maybe she thought all those high-profile tennis fans might make too much of a racket… (Sorry!)
Or perhaps she just wanted something to hide behind, when her dad Richard Branson struck poses like this…
Also in attendance? Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie came hotfoot from Ladies’ Day at Royal Ascot…
Ah, don’t they look sweet holding one another’s hands? No?
Everyone’s favourite eccentric-Italian-of-indeterminate-age Nancy Dell’Olio was there, too - sporting a metallic minidress…
When I first glanced at this picture, I thought that was Joan Collins behind her - but sadly, it’s not.
Other guests included rock-chick-turned-wallpaper-designer Meg Mathews, former Blue Peter presenter Konnie Huq, Sugababe Heidi Range and actress Naomie Harris.
Oh, and former Wimbledon women’s champion Virginia Wade was there - so at least somebody had a bona fide link to tennis…
