Jack lines up TV career
Posted by Jane Murphy
And so the world turns…
Apparently, Jade Goody’s widower Jack Tweed - who’s currently serving a 12-week prison term for attacking a cabbie - is hoping to be a free man by the end of the month.
So what’s he going to do next? Well, according to The Sun, he’s going to be a TV presenter. “We’re talking to producers about half a dozen projects for Jack,” says his spokesman. “Nothing’s been signed off yet, but there are some good ideas being discussed.”
Meanwhile, a mysterious “friend” tells the newspaper: “For obvious reasons, Jack’s profile is pretty huge so he’s looking at how to make the most of that. He’s had a horrendous time recently so is desperate to get his life back on track.
“Many people want him to do things about life with Jade and he’s considering anything that honours her memory. He’s also very interested in presenting things - or doing stuff involving DJing and clubbing.”
Hmmm… is Jack really the small-screen star the world’s been waiting for? Tell us what you think.

He has no personality and he is a criminal why should he make money out of having been married to Jade, because he certainly wouldnt have got a career otherwise. I think most people saw this coming with him though

I won't be watching him. No personality, no talent and a criminal record.... not much to grab my interest.

Jack Tweed is a completely talentless waste of space with absolutely no personality whatsoever. To say his profile is "pretty huge" is beyond belief. Any television channel employing him should seriously think about how few viewers will be interested in this thug. If he really felt anything as has been said, he would do some charity work for cancer research.

I think he's everything that's bad about Britain today. Low morals, shallow & obsessed with fleeting fame. It's about time the media & junk mags actually put morals before profit & told him he's not what people should be aspiring to.

balls in our court, he will only succeed if the public watch him. Lets all switch him off or turn channels, thats what i will do.nobody will pay a failure, then he can go back to being a thug!!!!

This piece of rubbish is not a celebrity purely an absolute talentless nobody. He deserves one thing - total obscurity

It saddens me thats this joke is getting a break on telly when theres a lot of young talent out there trying the hearts out, may we should just go and beat some up and who knows?

He was released on tag even though he had an impending conviction for violence. He is a waste of space and cashing in on Jades memory. I give him 12 months before he is back in prison. His actions on tag make it difficult for serious prisoners who deserve tagging to gain tag.

He's just a shell of a human being! I saw this one coming a mile off.

From what I remember from him in BB when all that racism stuff kicked off was that he could hardly string a sentence together unless it was littered with swear words, he came across as an idiot and I don't honestly think he would have been with Jade had she not been famous/wealthy - I suppose he'll make a small fortune from the back of OK magazine telling the readers all about his 'grief' - does this qualify him as a presenter... I think not, go away little boy and try to stay out of trouble.

thug
making money off Jades back now...

It seems if you commit a crime you can have your own TV show in this country. WHY????????????? subject decent people to a paracite and thug like him.
Posted by: June | 21 May 2009 at 15:20
He has a profile? I don't think he even has a personality, does he? He ceratinaly has no screen prescence...he's so wet.
With so many decent, genuinely talented people to choose from, why pick him?
I agree with Faye, he should do some charity work in Jade's name, but he doesn't have to be plastered all over the place to do that.

with tens of thousands out of work why do we need another waster forced on us as a 'presenter'. it wouldn't be half bad if he had some qualifications for the job but being jade goodys ex isn't a recommendation for anything. is it?bring back moira if you're really pushed for presentersthen there's always good ol' murrey walker, at least he had some tv presence and was entertaining and knew what the hell he was talking about most of the time.what a shower the bosses of tv are, no wnder they are all struggling to make money .

What has he done to deserve a job in TV except jump on the Jade gravy train?
Posted by: Jane | 21 May 2009 at 14:48
What is this poxy country coming to?? Send him to the Bastille for life, another complete waste of skin, been made out to be a so called 'celeb'!! TV producers and morguls are complete idiots, but even worse are the British public for 'liking' this imbecile!!

He's had a tough time recently with loosing his girlfriend but the prison bit is all his own doing. Just because he's Jade Goody's widower doesn't mean he should get a TV deal. He's done nothing to stand on his own feet to warrant that, he's made his name in public via Jade & that shouldn't be exploited. He's not a good role model with his record of violence & this would just be cashing in on her name. I think Jade's memory & what it means to various people should be left to RIP. Too many people are getting on TV, to make trash TV programmes !

Keep him in for longer, hopefully he'll find a new partner!!!
Posted by: Frank | 21 May 2009 at 14:10
I don't know how you lot can sum up the energy to be so angry about this?
Posted by: duncan | 21 May 2009 at 14:07
Why would we want to watch on TV a man who has a prison record for Violence! Nothing he has to say would interest me! All this honouring Jade's memory is a load of rubbish. The first chance he gets he will be move on to another women! People like him make me sick! Why Jade ever let a man like that near her kids is beyond me!

I think that presenting from a North Pole TV station could be acceptable to the public.
However I'm not sure if the Eskimos deserve such a punishement.

the boy is fool and a thug he lived off the back of jade and when the poor girl died so did jack the spraff tweed.

The man is a parasite, completely devoid of personality and conscience.

I didn't know he actually had a profile!
Posted by: AM B | 21 May 2009 at 13:30
TV standards are so low these days that nothing surprises me. The man is a complete muppet.
Posted by: P Robdrup | 21 May 2009 at 13:25
What has this world become !?!?
Posted by: TBD | 21 May 2009 at 13:21
I don't think he has the personailty or persona to pull off any kid of presenting work. Look at he's TV apperances to date-Big Bro & 'Jade'! Stupid Idea. Now if he was to do charity work in honour of Jade that would be a better option for him, and he would get some respect from the public-instead off just living off someone else's name. Anyway give some up and coming actor/presenter a step up or chance instead of some untalentless sponger!

Hmm anything that hounours her memory, or makes him money more like!!!
