Is this the world's most expensive haircut?

Credit crunch? What credit crunch?
It seems Jennifer Aniston won't trust just anyone with her precious tresses - so she shelled out £40,000 to have her Los Angeles hairdresser, Chris McMillan, on call throughout her recent week-long trip to Europe.
The whopping price tag included the cost of the stylist's first-class flight tickets and top hotel rooms, as well as his estimated £1,500-a-day fee for doing Jen's hair.
Admittedly, the actress looked gorgeous at each of the three European premieres for her new movie Marley & Me. But was her 'do really that difficult to achieve? It looks fairly easy to me - unless, of course, her natural hair is a tight Afro...

Seriously you people are arguiing over how much someone spends on their hair with their OWN money? not money that has been borrowed by the bank or frauded through benfit - her OWN money she worked for-are you being serious?my opinion is you are now comparing hair to starving people in Africa- surely if she stopped spending money on her hair the people would still be starvingm why on earth are you comparing an african governments mistake that their people are starving to someone who works very hard to do her hair...really dont get it? secondly, if I was on that much money I would pay more for my hair, clothes, car, house, hotles PLUS you forgot just how much charity work Jennifer does...oh but no good things a person does is EVER recognised -you only like to concentrate on the "bad"(not that spendng money on hair is bad) - you people who are slating her are just jealous and unhappy with your own lives that you feel the need to bring someone down when you dont even know them. my answer is why dont you get a job in a charity shop or in africa instead of being such horrible people by slating someone you dont know and judging a book by its cover -what type of example are you setting for younger children in todays society -surely everyone should be open minded!!

jennifer aniston is a member of a very large club of female jackasses, the woman is timply tupid ,she needs a checkup from the neck up and could have got better value for less money if she had spent it on getting a mind transplant, the bottom like is jennifer aint cool no wonder she behave like a fool.

WTF??? It looks like the hair-do that any average long-haired girl can achieve with decent shampoo and straighteners!!! She could have paid off half my mortgage with that and there'd have been a lot more gratitude!!

Well its her money she can do what she wants with it, she dosent dictate what we should do with our hard earned cash. If people are stupid enough to pay celebrities that kind of money, when nurses and docters are paid far less when they do greater work, then this is the kind of world we live in!!!!

there's NOTHIN SPECIAL OR UNIQUE about that hair...she should have bought sme gold to sell when the credit crunch is over...'TAKING THE MONEY TO AFRICA WOULD HAVE GIVEN HER MORE PUBLICITY'

Yummie? shes got a face like a slapped ass, and as for talented? where? are we talking about the same person? or just the massively overpaid, overrated actress!

So if Jen had decided to have a go at her tresses with the GHD's, instead of forking out the money for someone else to do it, the children in poverty would have suddenly flourished? There will always be rich and poor in this world, fact of life.

As the old phrase says " you can't polish a turd!"... 40k or not its not worth it and goes to show how meaningless money is to these imbeciles that people worship blindly and make obscenely wealthy!

If she has the money and wants to spend 40k on her hair then who cares, if i had her money i would too along with the rest of you so no point denying it!

Very over the top for a hair cut. if he cost 1.5K a day for a week, what the heck was the rest of the money spent on!!!!

That's almost 3 times my annual salary. And mine is a comparitively well paid jobs for a normal person. Good to see that, despite her fame and fortune, she still sees the value of money these days...

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING: If she was only good-looking. You see girls in the High Street daily - who are just gorgeous! The world is a mad mad place that people can spend so much on hair....The mind boggles.
