Jade Goody dies

Jade Goody has died at the age of 27. The reality TV star passed away in her sleep in the early hours of Mother's Day, with her mum Jackiey Budden at her side.
Speaking outside Jade's Essex home, Jackiey told reporters: "My beautiful daughter is at peace."
Jade also leaves two sons, Bobby, five, and Freddie, four - as well as her husband of one month, Jack Tweed.
Jade's former partner Jeff Brazier, father of her two sons, said: "I'm grateful the boys were able to say their goodbyes and spend that precious time with their wonderful mother.
"Bobby and Freddie are my absolute priority and I will be doing everything I can to be their rock and to give them all my love and support to get them through a confusing and upsetting time."
Prime Minister Gordon Brown has led public tributes to Jade, saying: "The whole country has admired her determination to provide a bright future for her children. She will be remembered fondly by all who knew her and her family can be extremely proud of the work she has done to raise awareness of cervical cancer, which will benefit thousands of women across the UK."

I think it was a sad year losing Jade, Michael Jackson, Patrick Swayze and Farrah Fawcett amongst others. They all had their assets and I think it is a sad world when people choose to write comments as seen in these postings. Life can be difficult enough - there is no need for such nasty postings. Maybe one day they will loose someone very close to them and then maybe they will become better people!

I went through the hell of cervical cancer aged 30 five years ago. It was terrifying - I don't think I would have had the strength or ability to do what Jade did in her last few weeks.
No one deserves to die from this preventable cancer. I am so very sad for her and her family - it must have been devastating knowing she was leaving her children. A brave young woman - her actions and profile may prevent such a tragedy happening to others.
We should all be grateful - she could have done things differently, but didn't.

People should show some respect whether u liked her or not. Nobody, no matter what kind of person they are, deserves to die the way she did and as young as she was. She made mistakes but thats cos shes human & she shouldn't be hated for it, no one is perfect. She stayed strong till the end & that should be admired by everyone, her courage was amazing and everything she did from the day she found out she had cancer until the day she died was to benefit her 2 boys. Jade was a normal young women that died and it is sad, but she is not the only person ever to face cancer, she was no angel, or star she had no talent and was a racist bully in celeb bb, i don't think anyone that has been bully like me thinks she a hero, the fact is a bully and people treat her like a hero its sick.

As a practice nurse, we have seen a huge increase in the number of woman coming in for their smear tests, one lady, who came to my clinic, the other day was 31 and had never had a test. Jade is to commended in showing these woman the need to be health aware. I applaud you for your bravery and if my clinic is anything to go by your untimely death was not totally in vein. Rest in Peace Jade.

this is a message for freddy.
Yes you may be write about jade and that most people didnt like her. But at the end of the day nobody deserves what she has gone though since august last year and especially to leave 2 little boys behind. The boys will never see there mum again which must be very hard as there are so young and dont know what is happening. i lost a relative to cancer last year and she left 2 children the same age as jade's 2 little ones. i think we should be thank fully for what we have got. And our prays go out to the people that lost there life last week to.

Jade - its so hard to believe that life can pass you by so quickly. Six weeks ago you were married, now you are at peace. My heart goes out to your family and beautiful children. Jade - facing death you had so much courage - you are an inspiration - My husband had cancer twice but because they were caught quickly there was not a death sentence and yet he was always moaning - you have given me a new meaning of life and I am divorcing this ungrateful person xxx

A young, very talented and strong lady has been taken from her 2 handsome boys so tragic, but God took you as he knows your boys will be strong like there mother and will cope with great courage, just like there mother would have done.
Your boys will be so proud of there mummy when they are older and understand.

Dear Jade,
We never met, but I feel as though i have lost a good friend. I think about you every day and will miss reading about your latest antics. Jade - I know all your family and friends are very proud of you but I am sure I am speaking for a lot of other people like myself who never met you but felt like you were our best friend as well.I am so very proud of you and how you handled everything to do with your illness,you really couldn't have done anything better,from start to finish(which was too soon)you did good Goody!!!!
