Bling and bangs at Paris Fashion Week

Times are tough and money's too tight to mention - but, hey, people will always need overpriced couture and bling-bling accessories, won't they?

Indeed, there was no sign of the credit crunch at yesterday's must-see fashion shows in Paris. On the guest list? Keira Knightley struck a pose in head-to-toe Chanel next to pompous berk legendary designer Karl Lagerfeld.

Points to note: Keira's new fringe (very nice!) and studded shoes (very silly!):

And here's Kanye West texting some mates in between the Chanel and Christian Lacroix shows...

Just look at that watch! It's making my eyes hurt.

And finally, here's US Vogue editor Anna Wintour in her trademark fur coat and no knickers shades...

Puh! They might have more money than the rest of us could ever dream of - but this lot look as miserable as sin, don't they?
