Lights! Cameras! Britney!

Well, as far as celebrity stories go, this week has certainly belonged to Britney Spears.

The pop princess's hit-and-miss comeback continued apace yesterday as she switched on the Christmas lights at the LA Live entertainment complex. (And, no, she wasn't miming!)

Meanwhile, the video for Britney's new single, 'Circus', was officially released - to much critical acclaim - on yesterday's edition of Entertainment Tonight:

You seem to be missing the point Allan. Big stars mime because they are actually terrible live. In the studio recordings you hear they are altered to put the vocals in the correct pitch and in tune. I for one would not pay a cent to see someone live if they mimed the whole thing, that is just a con.

I for one am really looking forward to seeing Britney in concert. I think this whole "her miming on the xfactor" has been blow up to such abig deal!. So what if she mimed!, Celine Dion mimed on last yrs xfactor and Mariah Carey mimed when she opened the show on this yrs!. Britney has been through a hell of alot and is still dealing with things. I for one am really proud of her and her new album 'Circus' wipes the floor with Takethats poor effort!. well done Britney we love you!. And hate her or love her you know she is gonna be around for many yrs to come!!. x
