Who's our favourite Londoner?

Now, not a lot of people know this but Sir Michael Caine has just been voted London's favourite Londoner.

The Cockney legend beat off strong competition from the likes of Leona Lewis, Joanna Lumley, Sir Alan Sugar and Wellard off EastEnders (RIP) to win the right to cuddle up to Lisa Snowdon at last night's Visit London Awards. Result!

So I'd now like to interrupt this blog to invite everyone to gather round the old Joanna for a good, old-fashioned Cockney singalong.

Altogether now: Maybe it's because he's a Londoner that we love Michael so...
