Lindsay gets flour-bombed!
Posted by Jane Murphy

Ooh la la! Ardent fur-wearer Lindsay Lohan was pelted with a flour bomb by an animal rights protestor in Paris on Saturday.
The incident took place when Li-Lo turned up to support her girlfriend Samantha Ronson during her DJ set at the VIP Room nightclub.
But ever the professional, the erstwhile actress merely dusted off her blue sequined dress and - yes! - fur stole before posing for pics on the red carpet.
Mind you, Lindsay may not have been fazed by the attack - but Samantha's livid! And she's vented her anger on her blog.
In a nutshell? Sam doesn't wear fur herself - but she thinks animal rights protestors should show a little more respect to those who do. "There are too many people who put another species before their fellow man, and that's sad," she writes.
Somewhat bizarrely, Sam also argues that animal rights protestors should "appreciate" celebrities such as Lindsay because they provide a target. "If it weren't for them, who would get PETA press??????" she asks - clearly having got her little finger stuck on her laptop's question-mark key due to the emotion of it all.
Oh, and Sam reckons the flour thrown at Lindsay could have been put to better use feeding hungry families.
So do you agree with Sam? Or do you think fur-wearing stars deserve to come under attack? Tell us here.

I do not agree with the fur trade atall and i am completely in agreement with Kiran.
Personally I wouldn't wear it and I think whoever does should be ashamed of themselves for supporting such a viscious trade.
I must admit, it did make me laugh when i heard Lilo got flour bombed! But on the other hand, maybe these animal rights activists should spend more time helping and saving the poor animals rather than plotting against celebs like Lilo.
I think there should be a stop to the fur trade. Whether or not this will happen in our lifetime, or indeed before these animals are completely wiped out, i have no idea. I hope so as no one or nothing deserves to be skinned alive only to be worn around someones shoulders... sickos.

Wearing fur is never right unless you live in the back of beyonds and kill the whole animal to eat and wear. Commercially produced fur mainly comes from China where they have no animal welfare laws, the animals are murdered in many disgusting fashions often being skinned alive! Its the "celebs" which are partly to blame for this industry and they should be leading the way to stop this utterly cruel and needless practice - animals need their voice - they don,t need their skin!!

OK eating meat and wearing fur are two different things, when an animal is killed for food nothing is wasted (leather) , now day you can choose to buy meat were the animals are kept and put down by the RSPCA standard, free range and organic, some would say we need to eat meat (questionable) so you have you choice, but fur is plain and utter cruelty, the animal is skinned alive and we do not need fur is only vanity

I don't agree with the fur trade and with fake fur available can't understand why the need for the real thing? But then it's part of free society and speech. If animal protestors want to make serious changes, then target the producers of fur and call for changes in the law. Hollywood's a funny place, one hand, miniature little dogs are carried in bags and the dead skins of animals are draped around them?!

Personally I'd never wear fur - but that is a personal choice. I think that flour bombing celebs/ people that choose to wear it is pathetic. If people want to make a stand against this then join WWF/WISPA - organisations who do not resort to violence against others. Afterall I presume they are protesting about the violence done to / death of an animal? I can't understand how they can then condone violence to a human being!
