How's that for timing? Red-faced tabloid target Gordon Ramsay has just been voted the nation's sexiest TV chef.
"We weren't surprised Gordon came out on top," says a spokesman for www.OnePoll.com, who carried out the research.
Er... why's that then? "Women go for bad boys all the time. The fact he's rumoured to have been cheating on his wife for years only adds to his appeal. It makes him more obtainable for everyday women in the street." Ri-ight.
Anyway, Mr Loverman beat off stiff (ahem!) competition from double-barrelled rivals Jean-Christophe Novelli and Marco-Pierre White, who took second and third place respectively in the poll of 4,000 women.
Other names in the frame included James Martin (fourth), Jamie Oliver (fifth), Raymond Blanc (sixth) and Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, who narrowly beat Gary Rhodes and Ainsley Harriott to clinch seventh place.
Hmmm... some people do have a very strange definition of "sexy", don't they? Give me Delia Smith over that lot any day!

I don't find Gordon at all sexy, and as for the rest of the list I think Jean-Christophe Novelli is the best of the bunch. The chef I find sexy is Michel Roux Jnr, don't ask me why there's just something sexy about him!! Weird crush or what?! Better than the top weird crush Jeremy Clarkson (WHAT??? Who the hell voted for that man!?)

WELL..... I Think he is so sexy I am not sure any of this is true... I think it is some one close to him trying to cash in. And well the wife i am sure will stay true by his side not just because he is so f in rich...for what is she with out him.... just a boring old housewife.....

there is no such thing as the sexiest man /chef....and even if there was none of these gonks would be near the bottom of the list never mind the top.
omg pppplllleazzzzz get them off the telly...then i may be tempted to watch mine sometime!!

There is no accounting for taste and it just reinforces my view that a lot of women need an eye test....however his wife really looks lovely and her constant smile might reflect the fact that she knows that her time is coming...and what is good for the goose has to be even better......
