If that whole US presidency thing doesn't work out for John McCain, he could always get a gig as a stand-up comedian instead.

Just look at him dishing out the funnies alongside Sarah Palin Tina Fey on this weekend's Saturday Night Live...

Hmmm... perhaps you had to be there.

Meanwhile, McCain's running mate has fallen victim to a prank call from a couple of Canadian radio DJs (there's a lot of it about at the moment).

Sébastien Trudel and Marc-Antoine Audette managed to trick Sarah Palin into thinking she was talking to French president Nicolas Sarkozy in a six-minute call broadcast at the weekend:
