Bad luck, George Clooney! Hollywood superstar Johnny Depp has just been named the sexiest man in the world in a survey by Cosmopolitan magazine.
Everyone's favourite swashbuckling pirate narrowly beat Swoony Clooney to the top spot - with Jake Gyllenhaal, Daniel Craig and Brad Pitt occupying the next three places on the list.
Incidentally, Jake was one of only three stars in their twenties to make the Top 25 (the other two were Justin Timberlake and James McAvoy, in case you're interested).
The remainder of the super-sexy line-up are in their 30s and 40s - with the exception of Pierce Brosnan, who made the No.19 spot at the ripe old age of 55. (Perhaps it's his singing, as showcased in Mamma Mia!, that makes him irresistible to women? No?)
As ever, there were a few more surprises on the list. All four members of Take That shared the No.13 spot - meaning Gary Barlow is officially deemed more sexy than David Tennant, Dermot O'Leary and Clive Owen. Hmmm....
And scary, sweary celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay came in at No.21.
Ah yes, there's nothing sexier than a red-faced, floppy-haired man in chef's whites waving a fish-slice and bellowing that you've "burnt the f***ing souffle", is there?

I reckon Johnny looks like a criminal - suppose that's what attracts most women is the "bad", "mean" and naughty boy look. Personally, I prefer blonde, blue-eyed men.

Gordon Ramsey in bonkersly ugly, but the titles of "The F Word" manages to make taking off/putting on a chef's white look like one of the sexiest things on the planet.
Despite the fact that it'd be covered in splattered food and stinky sweat at the end of a steamy hot 12 hour session in the kitchen! (ooer).
