Nicole: 'I'd marry Tom again'

Here's Nicole Kidman at last night's star-studded Women In Hollywood event in Los Angeles, where she received a glowing endorsement from Tinseltown legend Shirley MacLaine.

"She has this heavenly quality," Shirley gushed. "I find her so otherworldly beautiful, otherworldly intelligent, otherworldly resilient. I call her My Alien. And only an alien could lose all their baby weight in two weeks."

Meanwhile, the alien herself has given a revealing interview in the November issue of Elle, in which she talks candidly about her former marriage to Tom Cruise.

"I don't want to take away from the 11 years with that man that were really important," says Nicole. "Really, for our kids - they were amidst a lot of love. It wasn't bad. And now we're amidst a more evolved love [in our new marriages]."

And does she have any regrets about tying the knot with Tom at just 22? "Um, no. Would I want my kids to get married at that age? No! But that was an extraordinary thing for me. Tom taught me an enormous amount - as a girl into a woman. Absolutely, I would do it again."
