Leave Nicole alone!

Harumph! Remember how gorgeous Nicole Kidman looked at Tuesday night's Women in Hollywood event?
Well, if you lean in really, really close to your computer screen and stare at this picture, you may be able to spot a few grey hairs on Nicole's head.
Yep, news just in: women in their forties sometimes have grey hair! Shocking, isn't it?
Forget the presidential elections and world financial meltdown: this one's really got the press in a tizzy.
The Daily Mail calls Nic's grey flecks "a rare mis-step for the actress" - and ponders whether the "stress of new motherhood" had given the star a few extra grey hairs.
Meanwhile, staff at the Daily Mirror think Nicole "had her eyes wide shut when it comes to hair grooming". And there was even a special section devoted to Nicole's hair on this morning's GMTV.
Just one question... How come grey hair is deemed sexy on a 40-something actor, such as George Clooney - but when 41-year-old Nicole lets her roots grow out, everyone shakes their heads and thinks she's let herself go? Tell us what you think.

Nicole Kidman always looks wonderful - even better now she is a mother and I love that she looks more natural now. As for the grey, I can't actually see any there anyway and the fact is that nobody mentions Helen Mirren's hair - they only say how fab she is for her age! I am growing my grey out, I went grey at 16 and have been colouring it for 23 years, I have earned every one of my grey hairs and I intend to were them like a badge of honour! YAY FOR GREY!!

It never ceases to amaze me, how the world looks in horror if a woman has a few grey hairs and heaven forbid a wrinkle or two, and yet the greyer or more wrinkled the male gets, he is considered wonderfully sexy !!!! She looks wonderful and so what if she has a grey hair or two.

I say, "Hurray for Nicole!" You are so right, men are celebrated and women are 'letting themselves go' if they sport a little gray. I think she looks wonderful and extremely comfortable with herself. Just like her, I'm leaving it (the gray) too.

Isn't it refreshing to see someone who looks natural. She has the confidence to be herself and doesn't she look amazing.

Just what exactly is wrong with grey hair?
I'm 40 and have a few, I'm not bothered by them in the slightest, I look upon them as natural highlights, it's other people that seem to freak out over them. Nicole looks stunning. Although I'm not in the same league as Nicole, I'm happy with my hair 'au naturel'.... I save a fortune on trying to colour or hide it! ......Going grey and comfortable with it, I keep myself healthy and groomed, having grey hair does'nt equate to a stressful life or letting oneself go!
Boo-yah! to the media (especially The Daily Mail) who seem to enjoy pulling all women to bits.

How can anyone say she looks anything but amazing, she'd put most 20-somethings to shame! I can only put it down to sheer jelously when the press start picking holes in people!
