Jade: 'I won't let cancer beat me'

I'm really not sure what to make of Jade Goody's new interview with OK! magazine.

On the one hand, I can understand why Jade agreed to it: after all, she's still got bills to pay while she goes through her gruelling treatment for cervical cancer.

But were some of OK!'s questions really necessary? Want some examples? Have you planned your funeral? Would you film the funeral for TV? Would you come back as a ghost?

Of course, Jade being Jade, she answers all the questions at face value - and throws in a few jokes for good measure. But all the same... Enough with the talk about death!

"I was told if they hadn't found the tumour when they had I would have just three months to live, that I could be dead by Christmas," she reveals. "But I have two children, so I am going to fight. If they weren't here, I might have just given up. I'd rather they try everything to make me better, however hard it is."

Jade's now set for five weeks of radiotherapy followed by a year of chemotherapy in a bid to beat the disease. "I'm looking forward," she insists. "I won't let this cancer beat me. I won't. I can't."

i really wish people would support her rather than go on about her trying to get in the spot light, she was there before this and this is of course a huge thing in her life and will be discussed in interviews. Some interviers however should think how they would feel if this happend to them and they had 2 kids at home before they ask such heartless questions!!!!

This sad woman's need for constant publicity is sickening. Hope she pulls through, but I feel sorry for her kids brought up in all the media spotlight.

Ok! are appalling for asking Jade those questions. Jade is an amazing person, She is the only person off BB who derserves to be where she is today.

I don't know if this is a recent pic, but she looks fantastic, and I really hope that she can stay as positive and determined as she is now!

wow, did O.K! really ask those questions? that magazine has some messed up 'journolists', just goes to show how our celebrity culture has no taste or decency
