Brian hits the North

Here's Kerry Katona's ever-delightful ex-husband Brian McFadden stopping for a cigarette break in Sydney after showcasing his football skills to a no-doubt-fascinated film crew. Gosh - he's so talented, isn't he?

Anyway, Brian's probably better off lying low in Australia at the moment. The reason? Just read what he has to say about his two daughters, Molly and Lilly-Sue, who live with their mum in Cheshire.

"It's horrible the way they speak," moans the former Westlife star. "They have skanky northern English accents." Skanky? Oh dear - that wasn't a very clever thing to say, now was it?

So does Brian owe the people of Northern England an apology? Tell us what you think.

i think brian needs 2 get a bloody grip!!!! im northern an theres nothin rong with my accent it wud b very boring if we all spoke with stuck up snobby accents. and as for kerry bein a bad mother she does the best she can if he gets custody of those girls ill eat my foot he wants them living with his mother he must b a really s**t dad if he can even have them living with him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

glad it aint just me that cant stand the barsteward !!! Imagine saying that about your own daughters - a real parent loves their child unconditionally and would never hate the way their child speaks !!! What a horrible dad .

i think he`s right, the liverpudlian accent isnt something to be admired.. come on his daughters sound like jimmy corkhill on helium.
it would be better if they spoke with a posh surrey accent but unfortunatley they do not..maybe their step dad could step in and help them with pawsh speech he says wetting himself..

Brian Mac who? What does he do again? If he spent more time with them, they may have spoken how he wanted them to. He should just be grateful they are healthy and happy and if they are? its a miracle with parents like those two little girls have been unlucky to have. Brian and Kerry are a disgrace neither one has a scrap of self respect or dignity. Talk about a match made in heaven never were a couple so suited to each other both selfish,childish people. Oh and yes I am a northerner one who loves her kids however they talk.

What an A---hole Brian McFadden is. He is the root of all poor old Kerry's problems, if he hadn't had an affair and dumped his wife and kids they might still be a happy family. They may, however, have a northern accent tinged with Irish and a spoiled selfish git for a dad, on second thoughts maybe he did them a favour.

Im a Northerner but if his daughter's sound like his coke fiend ex then I have to agree. Her voice is awful,..I mean what accent is it supposed to be?..its not Warrington,....it seems to be one she has made up.

He has an absolute cheek talking about skanky accents when you listen to his dirty Southern Irish drivel, it really grates. He's no role model himself. Regardless you don't go round slagging off your childrens accents to the world. So much for a loving supporting parent, more like a big A**hole with the mind of a child. Having heard Brian speak... 'pot... kettle?' I may speak with a northern accent, but you can be from any part of the world to adopt a monosyllabic grunt.

so Brian must think its fair to split up his two girls from their little brother and sister!!! think if brian got the girls he is tearing a whole family unit apart he's needing to get a grip and stop thinking about himself yes kerry hasnt been a angel but the root of her problems was surprise surprise being ditched by the man she loved.

The thing is he goes on about how bad a mother kerry is but when he has his children its his mum who looks after them.i think he is a worse role modle than kerry.i think he is a d**k head.who does not even seem interested in his kids.
