Nicole's baby speaks!

Father and daughter Lionel and Nicole Richie bowled up to the ASCAP Pop Music Awards in Los Angeles yesterday, where lovely Lionel was handed a Lifetime Achievement gong.

Mind you, it seems the family were far more interested in gushing about Nicole's three-month-old daughter Harlow. Apparently, Lionel's even done a spot of baby-sitting - although he prefers to be known as "G-Pa" rather than Grandpa, because that makes him sound more down with the kids. Yes, of course it does, Lionel.

Meanwhile, Nicole's mum Brenda - or G-Ma, presumably - insists Harlow is already talking. "The other day I was holding her, and she said, 'Hi!'" the doting grandmother told Us magazine.

Oh come on, Brenda - pull the other one. Surely Lionel Richie's grandchild would say "Hello" rather than "Hi"?
