Amy to launch fashion range

Yes folks, it's true! You too could soon look like this - because Amy Winehouse has announced plans to launch her own clothing and make-up collection.

"Amy's style has been copied by girls around the country and there's a lot of money to be made," says a friend/accountant. "It's a very distinctive look. She wants to bring out a range of cosmetics and fashion products. There could be hairspray, head scarves, liquid eyeliner, perfume..."

Hmmm... what exactly will the perfume smell like, do you suppose? And why stop with the eyeliner and head scarves? We want wigs! Fake tattoos! Cigarettes! Incarcerated husbands! Oh no - hang on...

Still, if it was good enough for Kate Moss and Lily Allen, it's good enough for our Amy - and the Winehouse look could be big on the streets this summer. But would you like to dress like her? Tell us what you think.

Definately one of the best talents there is around, perhaps its easy to offload the problems within our society on easy targets such as Amy? whilst she has difficulties you still have to appreciate the raw talent. Look at the history of addiction within music before laying it on people as if it was only just them. Perhaps the bigger picture is what people are negatively expressing here and not just singular individuals problems. when people are vulnerable are they supposed to just take it, or is it just a sad indication of our throw away culture. I feel people in this place need our empathic support and not be scapegoated or stereotyped. i agree with Helen's statement she does pull it off and well.

Why don't you small minded sheep get off the fence and take a good look inside yourselves, instead of projecting your stuff onto others, She is one of the most amazing talents to come out of the uk in years, She seems vaunable and unable to cope with all that comes from being in the limelight, fame and what lots money can buy, I personally wish her well, Rehab takes years not weeks Love and Peace be with her!!!!

She needs to give more credit to her own inspirations first, such as Ena Sharples, Ivy in 'You Rang M'Lord', Peggy in 'Hi-di-Hi' (bit of a Su Pollard theme here), and Pete Burns. It's just rude for her to pass her ideas off as original, dontcha think?
