Britney's troubles

“Gimme gimme more,” sang Britney Spears last year. And looking at the number of paparazzi and paramedics who swooped in on her Beverly Hills home last night, that’s exactly what she got.

Nine police vehicles, four news helicopters, three ambulances and about a million photographers. Oh, and two children. The fact that of all people, Kevin Federline seems to have become the main stabilising influence in the lives of Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, shows how far down the line Britters has come.

With reports of drinking problems and the “unknown substances” of last night, has La Spears brought this on herself? Or would the mental stress of losing your kids while the whole world looks on bring anyone to their knees?

when did baiting people with mental health problems become a national sport.the whole britney thing is becoming more and more unsavoury by the day.when she is found dead the press and media will realise they have in fact killed their golden goose, the fact that she has two small boys seems irrelevant as media pushes her further and further towards the edge

It seems to me that these greedy media photographers could not care about her welfare, and a earning a lot of money out of other peoples misery,and they will hound her to death just like they did to our Princess 10 years ago when they chased her into that tunnel. The biggest problem is how can we stop that so these celebrities can perhaps start to lead normal lives.The newspapers who say "poor Britney" do not mean it at all, they are just making big money from her misery and will move on to the next one and hound them the same way. It is getting out of control and needs to be addressed at high levels. I wish the girl well and hope her family intervene and help her in her darkest hours.

All I can say is I do feel sorry for her. She is obviously with her back against the wall and really needs somewhere to escape to properly. Not a posh hotel or a posh hospital, not even in the states. What she needs at the moment is to take back her sanity. I know where she is coming from when you feel everything is crazy and nothing seems to work out right. She hasn't been given the space to fart yet alone breathe in the last 12 months and from what i can see as an outsider she doesn't really have anyone to rely on..
If she isn't looked after we will read about her as the next star to have died young and it would be such a shame. I don't know if any of her advisers ever read the posts but hopefully they do and will take heed of what people are saying. My thoughts are with you britney xx

Brit needs someone to help her regain her self confidence and sanity then maybe she would have half a chance of getting her kids and life back,Kev and the press are killing that girl slowly. You are the people whom I feel sorry for because god help you if you ever end up in a situation where you are needing help and have no one to turn to or for example if you were an alcholic and instead of helping you someone gave you more drink and same for a drug user more drugs you would never get out of spiralling out of control lifestyle unless you die. Young people are very vunerable and adults should help to set a good direction for younger ones.

I feel so sorry for Britney. She needs help before something very tragic happens. She only recently gave birth to two children and then became embroiled in a bitter divorce. These events have taken their toll on her and she needs nurturing and privacy during this time, in order to heal. I do not know why Kevin and Britney divorced,but he now needs to cease persecuting her with the various depositions and court dates that his lawyers keep arranging on his behalf - he and these acts are obviously torturing Britney. Yes - she is acting strangely by missing court dates, etc., but her decision making skills at the moment are so obviously impaired. She needs just a little break and some flexibility with her kids. Last night's fiasco was as a result of Kevin demanding the kids back at 7.00 - couldn't he just let them spend the night - couldn't he just stay with them too?! What is the big deal - she is a mother, for goodness sake. Of course, her hormones are crying out for her kids! Maybe she had to take some 'unknown substances' to calm herself down while facing Kevin's intractability and maliciousness on the evening, poor girl! Where is her family - where are her friends? Why do we not hear from anybody on her side?

This girl has mental health illnesses that are NOT being addressed - this isn't something that is appropriate for the media to exploit. I hope that somewhere in the middle of all this someone can give her the medical attention that she needs. Does anyone remember Mariah Carey's nervous breakdown? Everything went very quiet while she got the treatment she needed. Someone needs to do the same for Britters.

I wish everyone would leave this poor girl alone yes she has brought on some of the troubles herself, but our society that we live in today is truly unbelievable. They seem to thrive on the fact that someone is down and out instead of taking things one step at a time. If she is addicted to drugs and drink I feel the pressures of her lifestyle has got the better of her and with media always on the down about her no wonder she is the way she is. When your on top everybody is with you and when your low all we seem to do is kick them even lower. Examples. Princess Diane has been dead now 10 years and they are still going on about her and trying to make her out to be something that she's not. The only people that really will know what Britney is all about her is true friends. Sometimes family aren't that concerned unless they are bringing home a paypacket. As for K-Fed he's no better either, so why have they given these kids to him??? People today really need to take a long hard look at their own lives before critising others. Maybe if we opened our hearts to people rather than stamp on them. In any high life profession you will always have highs and lows, but Britney will never get better if people don't leave her alone to try and turn herself around. Poor Britney.
Going thru such an emotional ordeal as she has would take its toll on anyone however if you choose to live in the limelight then you should not only expect but be prepared for when the going gets tough for it to happen in front of the cameras - unfortunate but true and possibly the price stars pay for achieving their dream. At least the children's Father (K-Fed) is providing some sort of stability and I am beginning to wonder just how bad he really is if he can be supportive to his distressed ex and her sister???
