Madonna in sheep dye row
Posted by Jane Murphy

Oh dear - bad Madonna. Bad, bad, baaad Madonna.
The 49-year-old Queen of Pop has sparked a furious row with animal rights activists after dying the sheep on her Wiltshire estate blue, pink, yellow and green for a Vogue photo shoot.
"Why is it necessary and what is she trying to prove?" asks a furious RSPCA spokesperson. "It sends out the wrong message about how to use animals. Even if the dye is safe, others might copy it with unsafe dye."
Hmmm... what's the betting that Guy Ritchie gets a nice blue, pink, yellow and green jumper for Christmas?

I feel responsible for the Madonna sheep dye...it's all my fault for giving her the idea from a blog I wrote. Its exactly what I was going to do to advertise my new website. Never intended to hurt the little sheep though..here was the blog..

Apart from having a magazine photo shoot, why would anyone want to copy and dye there sheep a pretty colour?
I would like to belive that no one is stupid enough to think 'oooooooooh madonna has pink sheep I must copy...'.

Must admit i'm not a farmer and i haven't looked at a sheeps bottom in years so perhaps we can't go around a field with a red hot poker any more but as for the docking yes it still goes on. I believe the law states working dogs only. Amazing the amount of 'working' rottweilers there are on council estates.
Heat mag give info on branding and tail docking? Wow the mags more interesting than i thought i will have to have a read. I thought it was all about Z listers falling out of clubs in an attempt to be famous.

Bob your comments rank on the farcical but even you are allowed your point of view. ps Legislation banned iron branding in the 50's also it is illegal to dock puppies tails. Your really up to date with your knowledge do you read heat mag? Bob power Duh!

If you write childrens books you can't swear?? When did that law pass then?
I wouldn't say she has subjected anyone to anything, you dont like it then simply dont read it or listen to it.
Not sure what is more funny or stupid Breads comments or the loopy animal rights gang with nothing better to do then moan about absolutely nothing. So dying is out folks but dont panic we can still brand our sheep with a nice hot branding iron, or slice the tails off sweet little puupies to make em look nicer!

Breadanbutter is right - Madonna always used to talk about how she'd never dye her sheep, and now look at her. It's a disgrace.

what makes me laugh about this old woman, is that in the 90's she subjected us to so called self expression with her sex book then as she gets older and boy is she!, she has double moral standards, writing a book for kids for a start, then swearing in live aid concerts, maybe papa should have preached a bit more, girl or old woman power duh.
