We’re not quite sure how they choose who gets a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, but Ricky Martin?! ‘Livin’ La Vida Loca’ was eight years ago, people!
Anyway, if you were expecting the Rickster to accept the award with a quiet smile and a handshake, then you’d be sorely mistaken. That old guy on the right is just like, “Who is this nutter?”

Actually the star pays around £18,000 to get a star and it is mainly a PR exercise from them. Anyone can have a star if they pay for it although I reckon they would probably not let you have one if you weren't famous. There is no commitee or anything that awards them.

he deserves one for sure. It only comes a little bit late. he has not been around for ages ( or at least it seems like it) and NOW comes a star?!?
having said that most stars belong to people who are completely forgotten now, so maybe that is a good thing...

Why the hell has he got a star on the walk of hollywood? This guy has not been mentioned for years so what has he done which is soooo good to be with the "stars" of hollywood???
