Davina interviews Alexandra

Alex (C) Wenn Unless you've spent the past few days on Mars, you probably know by now that Alex was removed from the house by Big Brother and tonight's eviction was cancelled (Mario, you lucky  b*****d!).

But just when you thought you'd never have to look at the bully's face again, Channel 4 decided to give her a prime time slot on Friday night. Wicked!

Brave Davina interviewed Alex before the live show, presumably to spare her from the baying crowd.

Alex said she'd 'done Heat magazine'. Wow. When presented with the the infamous footage in which she threatened housemates with her 'gang' she shook her head. She blamed "the editing". Sure, darling.

Alexandra also denied threatening the housemates and blamed Big Brother producers for presenting her in an unfavourable light.

Davina also showed Alex some footage from the Diary Room, in which other housemates accused her of making everybody feel uneasy, being a bully and being a "manipulative character".

"I understand what you're saying, but my theory is - if you've got a problem with somebody, tell him," Alexandra defended her behaviour. And then went on to declare: "It's natural for me to defend myself". Pity Davina never explained to her the difference between the words defence and attack.

"I've learned that I'm much more hot-headed that I ever thought," concluded Alex. "Hot-headed"? This must be the understatement of the year.

The bully is gone, we declare this infamous chapter in the Big Brother history closed for good.

Alex's exit guaranteed

Ah good, it looks like Alexandra the Not-So-Great's reign of charmlessness will be coming to an abrupt end on Friday. She's up against Mario, and although Lisa's elegant theory that her boyfriend is unpopular because "they're jealous of you being hunky and gorgeous" is persuasive ("I know," he agreed, humbly), Alex's eviction seems as inevitable as a crap British summer.

Whereas previous veterans of unpleasantness have done their bitching behind people's backs (BB7's Grace) or been sporadically bearable (BB8's Charley), Alex has displayed none of their subtlety, attracting arguments like a big feud-magnet.

Part of her problem is that Alex clearly finds cross-dressing incredibly distasteful, quite an issue as this year's Big Brother seems to have consisted almost entirely of men having a jolly old time prancing around in women's clothing. That was what raised her hackles with Mikey on Day 3 and that was what made her feel "sick" in last night's show.

BB producers love people like Alex, as long as they don't suddenly go all racist or anything – but unless they lob the rule book out of the window, there's nothing they can do to prevent her departure on Friday. The booing will be loud enough to hear from John O'Groats.

UPDATE: How prophetic - Alex has been booted out for threatening behaviour...

Alexandra 4 Mohamed?

Posted by Julie Carson

Wonders will never cease. Just when we thought there was nothing more to Alexandra than throwing her toys out of the pram over a cigarette lighter of all things, it looks like there may be a softer side to the Croydon lass.

Alexandra_looking_timid

The foul-mouthed bully appears to have developed a crush on 23-year-old Mohamed - the lucky fella! She revealed a soft spot for him during a game of Truth or Dare earlier on in the week. But a joint trip to the Diary Room last night led to a bit of playful flirting between the pair.

Giggling together, they settled down to talk to Big Brother. "It's been a pleasure being in here for a week. I'm enjoying it in here with Alex..." Mohamed said, nudging her suggestively. "Don't touch me Mohamed! Big Brother, kick his ass!" Alexandra shrieked.

Then when the duo were asked by Big Brother how they were feeling about the eviction, Alexandra replied: "It's going to be bittersweet really, because we're all having a good time. We don't wanna see anyone go home." (Er, has she forgotten telling Mario and Lisa that she wanted Steph out?)

"I really don't want anyone to leave," added Mohamed, then immediately lost his train of thought, forgetting what he was going to say. "I leave you speechless," flirted Alexandra.

Ooh I say - we'd never have guessed that was on the cards. Could a bit of attention from Mohamed be enough to take Alex’s mind off plotting her next argument? We shall see.

So who will be next to join the Big Brother summer flirt fest: Steph and Rex? Jennifer and Dale? Luke and Katreya? Tell us what you think. Post your comments below

Alexandra for the BBoot?

Alex (C) Wenn Big Brother has only been on our screens for a few days but one of the contestants faces being booted off if she continues to abuse other housemates.

Alexandra de-Gale, from south London, has been told by show bosses that her behaviour is unacceptable. She turned on Rebecca Shiner, 21, after she accidentally burnt chips. "I'm gonna make you feel like a d***head,” she screamed, “because you act like one."

She also made fellow housemate Rachel cry with her tirades. Alex launched an attack on other housemates, calling Stephanie a "p****".

However, in the diary room Alexandra defended her actions. "It wasn't a one-way argument,” she said. “Like, what's with the big attack on Alexandra? I felt my need to defend myself. If I've got somebody like Steph calling me a d***head, then I call her a d***head back. Who does she think she's talking to?"

This year Big Brother insiders have promised a zero tolerance approach to housemates behaviour. Time will tell if Alexandra lasts the distance - but she certainly causes fireworks in the house so we hope she stays.

And what's your take on that? Post your comments below.
