Marcus is evicted!
At long last Marcus has been booted out of the Big Brother house.
It seems I wasn't alone in wanting this arrogant 35-year-old kicked out. In fact 64% of the Great British public agreed.
The Wolverine wannabe was just as cocky as he left the house as he was during his time within the BB fun house.
The window fitter seemed to enjoy the boos and soak up the atmosphere - it's just a shame he didn't change his vest.
During his chat with Davina - who was joined by Andi Peters and resident critic Grace Dent - he defended his behaviour and said his bad language and treatment of women was simply all in jest.
Speaking of women, on the topic of Noirin, Marcus claimed he was bored and that's why he pestered/stalked the Dublin maneater. We believe you Marcus!
It's a joyous night the irrepressible dark horse has left the building - yipeee!

Thank God that ugly git has been booted out He really thinks he is every womans dream (in HIS dreams)hope he goes back under the stone he came from

Marcus was alright, out of the sad fools that went in to the BB house, but he's someone that you wouldn't ever be associate with at all, he's way too sad..!
BB lost it's way years ago, same old format with less interesting people going in to the house. I used to like the peoplw who use to examine the house mates behaviour but since they shunned BB it has only been a downward spiral for BB i'm afraid. Shame, it was interesting for the 1st few years and I have still watch recent series but only in the hope that it may have got better at some point...

Thank god that foul mouthed ugly looking yob has finally been booted out, it took long enough , but if you wait long enough GOOD WILL prevail. Seavash should go on Tuesday he is the trouble maker.

hate big brother, used to be a big fan, the best one was with jade and helen, now it`s crap would`nt waste my time watching that rubbish anymore!!!!

marcus was by far the most entertaining housemate out of them all why do the british public always get it so wrong and boot out all the best housemates, he made the show as far as i am concerned its supposed to be an entertainment show he was exactley what you want out of a housemate not a bunch of goody too shoes pretending to be something there not.
Posted by: hally | 29 August 2009 at 14:44
Marcus is the only housemate who has been himself and nobody can decry anyone for that. Siavash however is a manipulative scheming little fop who thinks he's Joe Cool rather than what he really is - Peter Prat. "I don't wanna play dis game no more.." then walk out!!!!!!

The selection criteria of this show now seems to be the people most likely to clash with one another. Are you trying to tell me thats what these people are like in real life? Doubt that very much. They're just playing to the camera. This ceased being entertainment along tome ago.
As for Marcus. Pathetic. He needs to develope his own identity instead trying to be this wannabe wolverine.

The whole show was complete and utter crap i used to watch previous Big Brothers but they have been getting progresively worse, They just kept reccruiting people who were so full of themselves and me me me types .The mix was all wrong .Some ordinery people can be fun as well have a look at the way The Office was put together and it may give you a few clues...

hi for years i have wondered where all these idiots come from and why anyone calls this entertainment thank god it is almost at an end.Whatever your age you have got to be a sad case to watch this rubbish

Marcus was the best housemate by far!!! I wont be watching anymore as all the rest are boring.
Marcus deserved to win he was honest and funny too....

I cannot see how a crude, rude and lewd, linguistically challenged person can be considered as entertaining. Marcus personifies all that is vile about egotistical cretins.

Why have Channel 4 decided to axe this entertaining circus of multi dysfunctional housemates?! The loss of Marcus can only prove why! This programme has lost its identity, and so have the UK public! We used watch Marcus types and enjoy their individuality, now all we have left are the meek and mild.

marcus was so insecure he acted like the school nerd all the way through,,,he obviously rarely goes out with women and couldnt get on with men as he will always be jealous of them...thank God hes out

Marcus was the best, no point watching now, yet again the public are stupid and have taken out the most entertaining housemate. I think he has been genuine throughout and his humour is spot on, shame the rest of the country dont get it! Now all ive got to do is convince my fella to grow some sideburns just like him. X

Yes he may have been cocky and arrogant but he was entertaining and the only housemate that couldn't be tamed by Big Brother.
Now all we've got left are yes men / no men ruled by wanna be man,Lisa. Now we can look forward to an even duller week, if that were even possible. The people left are the reason for the demise of Big Brother
Yours Mr Grumpy
