Big Brother final - the first eviction - it's Darnell!

So, here we are, the first eviction of the last night of Big Brother 9. In pouring rain. But despite that Davina managed to introduce all the previous evictees, with a couple of notable exceptions - those who were removed from the house were quietly ignored; have they ever exsited?

Anyway, those who will be leaving the house tonight will have to put up with the rain and will be welcomed by an exceptionally loud crowd. They managed to boo most of the ex-housemates, with a couple of exceptions - (Dale and Lisa seemed very popular with the audience). But after an evening of champagne, toasts and dancing to Beyonce and, ahem, Whitney Houston, the remaining five housemates will be leaving the house tonight.

And the first one to leave the house is Darnell! The crowds went mad and Darnell 'Don't label me, respect me' Swallow left the house wearing a fetching white dress, matching trainers and sunglasses. This boy's got class!

8.30 PM update

So, Darnell is in the studio with Davina, and already flirting with her!

When presented with a compilation of all his low points ('I hate myself', 'It sucks!' etc.) he said he was 'a bit embarrassed' with himself. Yep, that's what we thought too.

Talking about his love-hate 'relationship' with Sara, he said he's a cuddly type of person and as far as he's concerned they are just good friends. AT the end of the interview he thanked the great British public for accepting him.

I thought Darnell should have won or at least come second. At least he entertained us, unlike the dull winner.
